Carpet Cleaning Tips

If there’s one thing that we all dread, it’s spilling coffee on a carpet. That stain can really be difficult to shift but don’t panic; there are ways of removing this type of stain without having to subtly move a piece of furniture to cover it.

The fist call of action is to blot as much of the excess coffee up as possible. You can do this using a kitchen towel.

If you are applying a carpet cleaning solution for the first time to your carpet, then make sure you test it on a small section that is out of the way to see if it has any affect on your carpet.

Then spray the stain with water. Blot the stain with kitchen towel and repeat this until the stain has gone.

It’s a very simple way of getting coffee stains out of your carpet but not many people use it because they are too busy worrying about the mess they have made. But if you leave a coffee stain too long, then you are likely to be left with a faded brown mark that is even more difficult to get out.

If this is the case, then the best call of action is to call in a carpet cleaning London based company to come and work their magic. The professional carpet cleaners will use the best equipment to leave you with spotless carpets and there will be no trace of those faded brown coffee stains. And next time the dreaded accident happens, you will know exactly what to do to get the stain out.

Carpets are very hard to clean. Same spots can not be removed for example coffee or ketchup.

Coffee is one of the worst things to get out of a carpet. It doesnt help if you leave it there and then try and get it out a few hours later. My kids split coffee on our cream carpet about a year ago and we had to replace the carpet because we didnt know these simple tips. Thank you for your advice.

I wonder whether these tips are the same with blood and other hard stains.
For coffee I am sure it will work well as I have tried it many times.

Carpets are the foundation of your living space. They are the very playground your children grow up on. Maintaining a clean carpet within a hectic and busy environment, aside from the juice spills, colored spots, and mud trails, can be a very challenging objective for a stay at home mum or a working father. That’s why hiring a professional carpet cleaning company may be your best option yet.

Though we can take a quick action to soak the coffee with the help of a damp cloth, and clean the affected area with the help of lukewarm water and detergent, it’s always advisable to seek the help of professionals for carpet cleaning because they know how things should actually be carried out.

It is a major time saver, and there’s always less apparent dirt lingering on carpets that aren’t so easy to clean without a carpet cleaner.

The mistake many people make when dealing with a spill is using a wet cloth straight away rather than a dry cloth to absorb the spillage
